Updates under construction :)

A lot has happened in the past three weeks that I really need to update about, but I haven't really had the chance to sit down and write about it all yet! Basically, we had mid-terms, spring cleaning day, went to London and Ireland for spring break, got stuck in the London airport for 13 hours, Mom and Dad came to visit and when they left, Katie Peralta came to visit from Spain, and now here I am packing to leave for the Almafi Coast tomorrow. I will update about spring break trips and my time with Mom and Dad and Katie when I return from Almafi Coast! It's just a lot to write about, so I haven't been able to sit down and write it all out! This serves as a reminder to me, but while I am at it, I am going to list the little things I miss from America and can't wait to come home to:

Mark
Fluffy
Diet Dr Pepper (having MAJOR withdrawals!!!)
Hearing my niece welcome me at the door with "hi aweey!"
On the Border's white queso and chips
Inexpensive peanut butter
Inexpensive EVERYTHING, for that matter
A dryer instead of a drying rack that makes my clothes crunchy
An ice maker
Politeness, or at least an "excuse me" while being elbowed in the street
A bathtub/shower that actually drains
Falling asleep to a TV
Ice in my drinks at restaurants
Ice cold beer

While there are several "little things" that I am learning to not take for granted in America anymore, I am not sure if I am ready to come home to the fast-paced life yet. I have mixed feelings because I love it too much here and I love the laid-back culture so much. I am going to have major culture shock when I get back and not looking forward to that!
